Similarity Search: find the sound next to the sound
Pick any sample and see the closest matches across your whole library, ranked by how they sound rather than what they’re called.

You find a snare that’s almost right. It’s a little too bright, or a little too long. Until now, finding the next closest one meant auditioning every snare you own. Similarity Search does it in one click.
How to use it
Right-click any file in the web app or in Finder and choose More Like This. You get the 50 closest sounds in your library, ranked by similarity, with the key and BPM filters still available. You can also drag a file from Finder onto the search bar.
What “similar” means
Each file is measured on upload: how fast it attacks, how its energy spreads across frequencies, how it decays, and how long it lasts. Two sounds are similar when those measurements are close, whatever their filename, pack, or folder. A snare from a 2014 pack can sit right next to one from last week.
