We will be straight with you: there is no Delete account button in Settings yet. It is being built. Until it ships, deleting an account is a request you send us, and we do it by hand.
Export your library first
Settings › Export packages the whole library and gives you a download. Files come back in the format you uploaded — WAV in, WAV out — with your folder structure intact. A large library takes a while to prepare and you get an email when it is ready. Do this before anything else; after deletion there is nothing to export.
Ask us to delete it
Email support from the address on the account and say you want it deleted. We reply to confirm it is really you, and we do not act on the first message alone.
What happens then
- Within 7 days of your confirmation we delete the library, the file metadata, the analysis results and the account record.
- Encrypted backups still hold a copy for up to 30 days more, then roll off. Nothing is restored from them except to recover the whole system from a failure.
- Invoices are kept as long as tax rules require. That is the one thing we cannot delete on request.
If you only want the charges to stop
Cancel the plan in Settings › Billing instead. The account drops to Free at the end of the period and your files stay where they are. Deleting an account does not automatically refund the current period.
